“If only I had more time! Then I could do all that I want to do!”
There are 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. That won’t change. So how do you use what you have to create the life that you want?
The solution isn’t by figuring out how to do more stuff. It’s figuring out how to adjust your choices and decisions so that you’re doing the right stuff at the right time.
Time Management is a skill and as a skill, you can learn it. The problem for most people is that they were never taught. Instead you’ve been shamed for not already knowing how to manage your time.
“Don’t say you don’t have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein.”
H. Jackson Brown, Jr. quote
Don’t you think it’s time for you to get a handle on your time?

This is the first training I have listened to – time is a challenge for me, my whole life ; )
I have committed lately to making friends with time…
so I started here.
Here are some of my notes and responses:
how i get stopped:
limited energy, fatigue
needing a break
unwilling to do what it takes to offload
doing what is less important
resistance! not wanting to be dominated by other’s priorities, or mine
too much on my plate!
Jack Canfield says
the most successful people spend 80% of their working time living inside their core genius or primary area of expertise,
being with the people, in the processes that give the highest payoff for the time invested
core genius is effortless and a whole lot of fun
20% of the time is the set-up for 80% being in core genius flow
successful folks have set up systems and team so to spend more time in core genius
if don’t set up system and team, then money will not meet genius
– how to shift my percentage?
– how do i lay out my business resources?
– how do a make a system that is organic, natural, easy?
My big takeaway:
I’ve already been offloading work to others – do that MUCH more.
Schedule
more time off, more time to plan, and especially more time to make
structures, create levers, and facilitate others on my team to do what I
don’t have to / want to do…
Thanks Debra
This was very useful!!

I’m so glad, Wendy! Time Management is really the first of many systems that a successful business owner needs to set up. And it makes a profound difference, quite quickly. I encourage you to review the project management and the advanced time and project management classes as well.
Could make doing dishes a LOT more fun!
This is interesting,
After listening I figured a way to work on music and house cleaning at the same time.
I’ve got the basic tracks of my songs from the studio(I’m recording a CD). With a CD mix of acoustic guitar and lead vox, I can listen and write/memorize vocal harmonies while doing dishes.
🙂
